Your cropping is very effective - it makes the light shining through the trees to be much more of a statement, and suggests more of an emotional response. I like it much more than the source photo!
Hi Steven, These last three works are really impressive. I love the look and the colors you've chosen and find them most interesting to look at--over and over. My congratulations, Steven! Sincerely, Gary.
Hi Gary I continue to enjoy interpreting what I see. The act of making art is a journey-a process of discovery and experimenting with ideas in design, color, mood, allegory and emotions. What a joy to be able to do what I love so much. You are such a fine artist and your visits to my blog mean so much to me.
I can't even name exactly what I like about this. Maybe it is the circular motion that keeps bringing me back. Love it. The color is so you and really defines your unique style.
Another great tree! We're both into trees today!

DeleteThanks! and thank you for the photos of the "Painted Eucalyptus" trees.
Wonderful! I just discovered your blog and I love your landscapes: this painting a bit dreamlike and the light that leads you...
