no, spring is not here
yet swelling buds and longer

  2. Yes they do Steve. I just photographed my Dogwood with buds that are growing more prominent each day in this crazy winter we're having. This is a lovely painting. I adore tree forms, but what is outstanding here are your colors, beautiful and unique.

  3. Hi L.W.Roth
I shall never tire of painting trees. Their structures are each unique. Color does say a lot-as palettes change and values expand new moods seem to come forth. Thanks for visiting and commenting.
Well, surprise-winter is back today with high winds, cooler temps. and the threat of snow! (While jonquils are in bloom and cherry trees are showing much pink.)

    1. Hi Margaret
Thanks! Adventuring into various color worlds can be a journey into unknown territories as one explores the relationships of hue to hue.

  5. You certainly have a lovely series of trees going. All different but all obviously from the same brush.

    1. Hi Shirley
I do tend to explore many "ways" of interpreting what I see and what I want to say. I'm happy that "my" brush is evident in all that I do.
Trees have it!!! I'll never grow tired of their presence and their attraction.
