Wild violets grow in many areas along the creek banks and in the adjacent woods.  They are such a welcomed sight in the early spring. (Painted with a palette knife.)

"Above Mill Creek"

 Spring is bursting forth with great beauty here in North Carolina.  While walking along Mill Creek, I looked up the hill and saw these lovely Redbud Tress in full bloom at the edge of the woods.
