"View from the Instituto (San Miguel de Allende)"

In this stage the entire painting surface has been covered with the dark and light areas being established along with local color. In the next phase of painting, I will sharpen and add detail to the cathedral and surrounding area and define the vegetation a bit more and probably add more light/dark contrast in some areas.

  4. Hey Girlfriend!
Thanks for visiting. I am having such a good time with this painting as I am transported back to my time in San Miquel-a very magical place for me.
Was so good to see you too at "Small Art Big Heart" show. I look forward to this every year because we get to visit with so many of our artist friends that we don't often see.
    Much love
    Steven
