"Womble Garden"

Spring has arrived in North Carolina!  With so much color everywhere,  I am inspired to record what I see.  Womble Garden is full of several varieties of Azaleas, White Dogwood and Flowering Crab Apple trees.

"Falling Leaves on Aldersgate Hill"

Here is  yet another of my Fall paintings this year.  I never get tired of exploring the different light and atmospheric conditions of a location.  I have painted similar views of this area on other occasions.   In this one I was particularly interested in the contrasts of lights and darks ( and the designs they create) as well as the warms and cools.
