"Falling Leaves on Aldersgate Hill"

Here is  yet another of my Fall paintings this year.  I never get tired of exploring the different light and atmospheric conditions of a location.  I have painted similar views of this area on other occasions.   In this one I was particularly interested in the contrasts of lights and darks ( and the designs they create) as well as the warms and cools.

  4. Hi Lisa,
Fall it is in all it's "splendiforous" colors! It really was an exceptionally beautiful fall this past year here in NC.
This new year brings continued joy and adventure as it presents itself with each and every new day.
Thanks for your visit and I certainly will keep painting and enjoying the creative process-and you do the same!
    Your blog friend,
    Steven
