"Blue Ridge Pastures"

The mountain temperatures remained in the low 70's during the morning as I painted.  I had walked a short distance from where I parked my car along the Blue Ridge Parkway and discovered this lovely vista.  I let this "paint itself" as I enjoyed creating in the open air.

  1. Hi Steven,
Very nice! I love the feeling of space you've achieved here. I've always been amazed at those artists who can perform this magic and you're officially on the list now!
    Have a great day tomorrow.
    Sincerely,
    Gary.

  2. Hi Gary
Thanks for your kind compliment. I had a good time painting this. Such a pleasant morning having escaped the opressive heat and humidity of the Peidmont. I just relaxed into the moment and all of a sudden that moment became 3 hours!
It's always good to hear from you.
    Steven
