“Why don’t ya’ll come sit with me
In the gazebo near the big oak tree?
It’s hot and humid with summer season’s peak.
Bet we could sit here till the middle of next week!”
The second small painting in my series of neighborhood scenes.
Under a huge Oak tree in the edge of a beautiful verdant field is this little white gazebo. So "southern" and charming, it's a great place to sit and comtemplate the verities.
Acrylic on Canvas Panel

I love a gazebo. . . but I never see any gazebras in them.
ReplyDeleteAnother beautiful painting, Steven, so far I'm loving your neighbourhood.

TherE is just nothing like a quiet gazebo out in the country. Love the softness of this painting.
