"Woodland Ardor"

This painting is imaginary.  However, it was inspired by my many walks in the woods along Monarcas Creek. I wanted to create a scene that is typical of this area of North Carolina.

"Pink Parade"

 This past summer as I was walking in Reynolda Gardens I came upon this stunning display of pink gladiolus.  They were standing high above the white dahlias and yellow rudbekia.  Such a cheerful, lovely sight!

"Historic Odd Fellows Cemetery"

A pleasant morning painting in this old cemetery here in Winston-Salem while volunteers were giving tours to acquaint people with it's history.  A small group of dedicated citizens are working hard to rescue the site from the ravages of time and neglect.
